GMF Australia, with the help of MedGlobal, the mission partner on the ground, completed a distribution of food baskets to 168 families, or 1,176 individuals, in the Hajar and Amd districts of Hadhramaut, Yemen, in partnership with Nahd Development Foundation. The supported families were from vulnerable groups, including displaced persons, families living in poverty and those with a disabled family member. These baskets will provide nutritional support to the families for 8 weeks.

Due to the ongoing war, COVID-19 pandemic, and economic crisis, many families have struggled to regularly secure nutritious food. With food insecurity in the country on the rise, this project aimed to provide support to those most vulnerable.
