GMF conducted a medical and surgical mission in Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines in January 2016. Group consisted of general and orthopedic surgeons, general practitioners, gynecologists, dentist, anesthesiologist, nurses and humanitarian volunteers from Australia, USA and Hong Kong. Health camps were conducted in make shift halls in Solano, Ifugao, Bayombong and Bombang. The team consulted and treated about 3500 cases in the 4 day camp. Cases included hernia repairs, thyroidectomies, management of varicose vein, gynecological procedures, dental extraction and adult and pediatric health checks. The team also donated medical supplies.
