MEET AHMAD, A GIFTED BOY WITH GREAT POTENTIAL

Ahmad’s Story,

We at GMF Australia are sponsoring the education of 9-year-old Ahmad from Madaba city, Jordan. We first met Ahmad during our medical mission in 2018.

Ahmad lives with his grandparents after tragically losing his father, the only earning member of the family. He faced another setback when his school was burnt down leaving him with no option except to attend a local private school if he were to continue his education. Ahmad is a gifted and talented student for whom an education would prove to be more valuable than any other means of support for him and his family.

Touched by his story, GMF Australia has pledged to sponsor Ahmads education at Al-Akhilla private school until he finishes year 12 and have been paying his school fees directly to the school. We receive his progress reports on a quarterly basis and are pleased to report that Ahmed has excelled in school so far.

Ahmad’s dream is to become a doctor, and he would like to repay GMF Australia by becoming a volunteer and providing health care to those in need.
