GMF Australia in collaboration with our project partners, Charity down under, GOC Bangladesh, CARE foundation and Khan Bahadur Fazlur Rahman Foundation provided eye surgeries in districts of Sherpur, Banaripara and Goalchator.

375 Cataract surgeries, 32 surgeries for Pterygium, 22 DCR (Dacryocystorhinostomies) 10 conjunctival procedures were done between January and June of 2021 in underserved and disadvantaged communities. 150 patients were given prescription glasses.

Patients were transported from surrounding villages in buses and boats and were provided with accommodation and food during the mission.
